Organized by NEWBREED
The NEWBREED Georgia Crystal Cup will take place on October 10, 2026, at the Lakepoint Champions Center in Emerson, GA. This tournament will feature both gi and no-gi divisions, accommodating a variety of grappling styles.
The NEWBREED Georgia Crystal Cup runs on the promotion's athlete-safety-first rules, keeping the 11-and-under youth bracket submission-free while adults and older youth compete in standard gi and no-gi divisions. NEWBREED splits kids into Youth Group 1 (4-11) and Youth Group 2 (12-17), runs no-gi adults through Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced skill brackets, and lets gi competitors enter in any gi color at their current belt rank. The Crystal Cup takes place Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Lakepoint Champions Center in Emerson, Georgia. Registration closes the Tuesday before the event with a final cutoff the day before at 5pm; sign up through newbreedbjj.smoothcomp.com.
Registration deadline: October 9, 2026
NEWBREED (the NEWBREED Jiu-Jitsu Federation) is a US tournament circuit whose federation was established in 2012. It runs 100+ tournaments a year nationwide with kids-through-adult gi and no-gi divisions and digital bracket management, culminating in The Ultimate Grappler (TUG), its elite no-gi absolute finale.
NEWBREED runs a long-established tournament circuit (including its Ultimate Challenge events) with gi and no-gi divisions for kids and adults, grouped by age, weight, and experience level. It's a high-volume regional circuit that many competitors use for regular local competition.
NEWBREED publishes its own rulebook with an explicit emphasis on athlete safety, and technique legality scales with age and division level. Read the current NJJF rules before competing — division structures and legal techniques are spelled out there.
Always confirm the official rulebook before you compete — organizations update rules between seasons. See the official event page for current rules.
