Alliance BJJ Roswell brings the championship pedigree of the Alliance team to East Roswell, led by head instructor Professor Rodrigo Maciel. Originally from Sousa Paraiba, Brazil, Professor Rodrigo began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2008, training daily and competing regularly before moving to the United States in 2019 to join Alliance. Drawing from over 16 years of experience in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, he leads the academy with a technical approach shaped by a lineage that traces directly from Mitsuyo Maeda through Carlos and Hélio Gracie, Carlson Gracie, Ricardo Delariva, and Iliarde Santos. The academy offers a structured progression for adults, with gi-based classes spanning fundamentals, intermediate, and advanced levels. Professor Rodrigo maintains a strong focus on competition readiness for those interested, while ensuring that all students build solid technical foundations. Members can also take advantage of open mat sessions, which provide additional time for sparring and drilling in a less formal setting. For younger students, Alliance BJJ Roswell runs the Baby Eagles program for ages 3–5 and the Little Eagles program for ages 6–13, both designed to introduce children to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a supportive and age-appropriate way. The school is wheelchair accessible, and drop-ins are welcome for most classes. With its deep roots in the Alliance tradition and a curriculum shaped by world-class expertise, the academy serves as a dedicated home for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Roswell.
