The NEWBREED Fayetteville Fall Championship will take place on October 17, 2026, at Freedom Courts Sportsplex in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This event features both gi and no-gi competitions, catering to a wide range of grappling enthusiasts.
NEWBREED runs its athlete-safety-first rulebook at this fall stop in Fayetteville, with both gi and no-gi divisions on the mat. Youth competitors are split into two safety-focused brackets: Group 1 for ages 4-11 (no submissions allowed) and Group 2 for ages 12-17, while no-gi adults compete in Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced skill brackets rather than by belt, and gi competitors go by their current rank. Any gi color is allowed on the mat. The championship is held Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Freedom Courts Sportsplex, 3126 Gillespie St, in Fayetteville, NC. Registration closes the Tuesday before the event, with a final hard deadline the day before at 5pm; no outside federation membership is required to compete. NEWBREED (the NEWBREED Jiu-Jitsu Federation) is a US tournament circuit whose federation was established in 2012. It runs 100+ tournaments a year nationwide with kids-through-adult gi and no-gi divisions and digital bracket management, culminating in The Ultimate Grappler (TUG), its elite no-gi absolute finale.
NEWBREED runs a long-established tournament circuit (including its Ultimate Challenge events) with gi and no-gi divisions for kids and adults, grouped by age, weight, and experience level. It's a high-volume regional circuit that many competitors use for regular local competition.
