The New York State Championships is an annual regional BJJ tournament that's run in the New York area for several years, drawing competitors from the tri-state region for a full slate of gi and no-gi divisions. Like most independent regional opens, it's organized through Smoothcomp and structured around standard age, belt, and weight-class brackets. This year's event takes place October 25, 2026, in Tarrytown, NY, and is open to competitors of all ages and belt levels, gi and no-gi. Registration and current division details are available through the Smoothcomp link on Let's Roll.
