Like Minded BJJ

Like Minded BJJ operates out of a straightforward facility in Tempe, Arizona, focusing exclusively on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for adult practitioners. The gym centers its schedule around open mat sessions, providing students with regular opportunities to drill techniques and spar in a less structured environment. This approach encourages personal exploration of BJJ concepts and allows practitioners to tailor their training alongside others of varying experience. The academy does not list a formal instructor lineup or specific lineage information, suggesting a more informal or community-driven structure rather than a traditional hierarchical team. Without dedicated gi or no-gi classes or belt-specific instruction, the emphasis appears to be on mat time and peer learning rather than a regimented curriculum. This setup may suit grapplers who prefer open-ended training without the constraints of scheduled classes or belt progression. Located at 2105 S 48th St #104, the gym welcomes drop-ins, making it accessible for visitors or those seeking occasional training in the Tempe area. While Like Minded BJJ currently offers no youth or specialized programming, its open mat format provides a straightforward space for adult BJJ enthusiasts to gather and work on their skills.
