Organized by Submission Challenge
Sioux City hosts Submission Challenge on November 14, 2026. The tournament runs submission grappling divisions for all belts, giving western Iowa competitors a local grappling event.
Submission Challenge brings its double-elimination, submission-only format to Sioux City, giving competitors multiple chances to fight through the bracket rather than a single-loss knockout. The event runs on ISOF Standard rules with EBI-style overtime when a match does not end in a submission, and every bracket includes a third-place match so competitors have something to fight for beyond just the final. The tournament is set for Saturday, November 14, 2026 in Sioux City, IA, with divisions spanning Youth (4-12), Teens (13-17), and Adults (18+) from Novice through Black belt, plus Masters, Directors, and Executive brackets for competitors 30 and up. Weigh-ins happen the morning of the event at 8am, and registration stays editable until the Thursday before; register through the Submission Challenge Smoothcomp event page linked from this listing.
Registration deadline: November 13, 2026
