Event Description
NEWBREED's Oklahoma City-area stop runs the federation's athlete-safety-first rulebook with both gi and no-gi divisions on the schedule. Youth competitors split into Group 1 (ages 4-11, no submissions) and Group 2 (ages 12-17), no-gi adults compete by skill level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) rather than belt, and gi competitors go by current rank with any gi color permitted. The championship is held Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Score OKC, 18509 N Meridian Ave, in Edmond, OK. About NEWBREED
NEWBREED (the NEWBREED Jiu-Jitsu Federation) is a US tournament circuit whose federation was established in 2012. It runs 100+ tournaments a year nationwide with kids-through-adult gi and no-gi divisions and digital bracket management, culminating in The Ultimate Grappler (TUG), its elite no-gi absolute finale.
Rules
NEWBREED runs a long-established tournament circuit (including its Ultimate Challenge events) with gi and no-gi divisions for kids and adults, grouped by age, weight, and experience level. It's a high-volume regional circuit that many competitors use for regular local competition.
