North Broadway Jiu Jitsu in St. Louis operates under the guidance of black belt Bryan Guidry, a world champion who leads the academy’s approach to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The school offers a structured curriculum that begins with fundamentals classes designed for all adult skill levels, providing a solid base in gi training. This foundation supports students as they progress into more advanced techniques and competition preparation, reflecting the academy’s focus on both practical skill development and competitive readiness. Training sessions include regular open mats, which are available to all members and drop-in students, allowing practitioners to drill and spar freely outside of formal classes. The academy’s competition team offers additional training opportunities for those looking to test their skills in tournaments, emphasizing the application of techniques in a competitive context. This program structure supports a clear path from beginner fundamentals to high-level competition. Located on Marconi Avenue, North Broadway Jiu Jitsu maintains a straightforward training environment without extra frills, focusing on quality instruction and consistent practice. The school encourages students to engage with the material through both gi classes and open mat sessions, fostering an atmosphere where experience and technique are built steadily under Guidry’s direction.
