1016 8th Ave S, Nashville, TN
Liberdade Jiu Jitsu is rooted in the heart of Nashville, offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for adults and children from its location on 8th Avenue South. The academy was founded as a place where people of all backgrounds could step onto the mats and find both challenge and encouragement, with a focus on building confidence and supporting personal growth. Classes at Liberdade cover both gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Adult students can start with Beginners BJJ to establish a strong foundation in the gi, then progress into all-levels training or step into no-gi classes to round out their skills. The kids’ program is designed for ages 4 to 12, introducing young students to the fundamentals of BJJ in a structured, age-appropriate setting. Drop-ins are welcome across all class types, making it easy for visitors and locals alike to train. The academy is wheelchair accessible, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity and access. With a schedule that supports both new and experienced grapplers, Liberdade aims to create a space where BJJ is truly open to everyone in Nashville.
