Claim this gymCarolina Combatives and Fitness in Greenville, SC, operates as a training center focused on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and related combative fitness. While specific founding details and instructor lineage are not listed, the academy maintains a consistent schedule that includes open mat sessions for adult practitioners. These open mats provide opportunities for students to drill techniques and spar outside of formal class times. The school offers training primarily geared toward adults, with a drop-in policy that allows visitors to join open mat sessions without prior arrangement. This flexibility supports practitioners who want to supplement their regular training or visit from out of town. The available programming centers on live training and skill development rather than a broad range of separate classes or age-specific groups. Though Carolina Combatives and Fitness does not publicly detail a structured curriculum or distinct belt progression classes, its emphasis on open mat time suggests a practical approach to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu where students refine their skills through rolling and situational drilling. The facility is located on Laurens Road, providing a local option for grapplers in Greenville seeking consistent mat time.
