10th Planet Oceanside Jiu Jitsu and Training Center is led by Geo “Freakahzoid” Martinez, a three-time ADCC World Championship veteran and one of the most accomplished 145-pound competitors in the world. Backed by a staff of six black belt instructors, Geo brings his experience from the highest levels of no-gi grappling to every class, shaping a curriculum that reflects the 10th Planet system’s innovative, competition-tested approach. The academy’s core focus is no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the 10th Planet methodology, with classes designed for all levels. Fundamentals and advanced techniques are taught side by side, allowing students to develop at their own pace, whether their goals involve competition or personal growth. The schedule also includes wrestling, MMA, and regular open mats, providing opportunities for athletes to pressure-test their skills and expand their game. For those interested in striking and overall athleticism, boxing, Muay Thai, and strength and conditioning classes are offered throughout the week. Youth programs at 10th Planet Oceanside cover jiu jitsu, boxing, and kickboxing, with instructors focusing on foundational skills, discipline, and confidence as students progress. The facility welcomes drop-ins and accommodates a wide range of training needs, including accessible amenities.
