The NEWBREED Roanoke Fall Championship follows the promotion's athlete-safety-first ruleset — no submissions for the 4-11 Youth Group 1 division, while older youth, teens, and adults compete in full gi and no-gi brackets. No-gi divisions are split by experience level (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced) and gi divisions by current belt, with any gi color allowed. About Newbreed
NEWBREED (the NEWBREED Jiu-Jitsu Federation) is a US tournament circuit whose federation was established in 2012. It runs 100+ tournaments a year nationwide with kids-through-adult gi and no-gi divisions and digital bracket management, culminating in The Ultimate Grappler (TUG), its elite no-gi absolute finale.
Rules
NEWBREED runs a long-established tournament circuit (including its Ultimate Challenge events) with gi and no-gi divisions for kids and adults, grouped by age, weight, and experience level. It's a high-volume regional circuit that many competitors use for regular local competition.
