The 2026 AGF Biloxi Open brings the American Grappling Federation's IBJJF-inspired rulebook to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, complete with the promotion's signature Coach's Challenge bean-bag system for contesting referee calls. With roughly 900 age, weight, and experience division combinations spanning Tiny Kids (4) through Executives (50+), the event is built to give nearly every competitor a well-matched bracket. About American Grappling Federation
The American Grappling Federation (AGF) is a Dallas–Fort Worth-based tournament organizer founded in 2011 by Brandon Quick and Chris Carlino. It runs gi and no-gi tournaments for kids and adults across the US using an IBJJF-style points system, its own weight-class and experience-level divisions, and an AGF Pro elite no-gi division.
Rules
The American Grappling Federation (AGF) runs a points-based gi and no-gi tournament circuit, primarily across the southern and central United States, with divisions for kids and adults grouped by age, weight, and experience.
AGF's distinctive rule is its overtime: tied matches go to a sudden-death period where the first competitor to score a point or advantage wins immediately. If overtime also ends level, the referee decides based on who spent longer scoring or attacking submissions. Check the AGF rulebook for current point values and division rules.
