1246 S Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV
Zenith Jiu Jitsu Las Vegas was founded in 2012 by Robert Drysdale, one of the most accomplished American grapplers of his generation. Drysdale is a fourth-degree black belt under Leo Vieira, the 2007 ADCC world champion and a 2005 IBJJF black-belt world champion. His Las Vegas academy remains his home base as an instructor, so the school’s name is tied directly to the person teaching and overseeing the program. Students can train gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with kids classes, beginner pathways, wrestling-related work and dedicated competition training represented in the program. The academy also runs an Agon Combat Jiu Jitsu program for younger students that blends grappling with stand-up technique. Visitors can buy dedicated drop-in passes rather than needing a full membership, an important practical detail in a city that draws a lot of traveling grapplers. For BJJ in Las Vegas, Zenith is especially compelling when direct access to a historically significant competitor-coach matters. Drysdale’s ADCC and IBJJF titles, his Leo Vieira lineage and more than a decade running the academy give the Spring Valley location a much deeper identity than a typical branded gym.
