Way of Jiu Jitsu Aurora is an official Rigan Machado Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy, bringing a direct Machado lineage to Aurora, Colorado. The coaching philosophy here is shaped by Professor Nobuo Yagai, whose teaching blends the discipline and technical rigor of Japanese martial arts with the flowing, adaptive style of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Rigan Machado himself describes the academy as an extension of home, emphasizing mutual support, discipline, and the importance of learning technique over relying on strength. Students are encouraged to show up as they are, with a focus on steady progression and respect for every stage of the journey.
