The academy is a veteran-owned business located in southeast Aurora, where instructors like Professor Fernando Pelet, a 2nd degree black belt with a background in exercise science and Muay Thai, and Bret Talbot, a first-degree black belt known for his work with kids and anti-bullying, guide students through the art. Classes at Rio Jiu Jitsu cover gi training for adults and children, with specialized programs for women, law enforcement, and competitors.
