Texas Made Jiu Jitsu

Texas Made Jiu Jitsu is known in the Garden Ridge and San Antonio area for its practical, family-centered approach to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts. The academy is led by Professor Leroy Montoya, a black belt with over 14 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. With a background as a former amateur MMA fighter, Montoya has coached hundreds of students, emphasizing confidence, real-world self-defense, and individual growth at every stage of training. The school offers a full slate of classes for both adults and kids, with structured programs in gi and no-gi Jiu-Jitsu, as well as kickboxing. Kids’ classes are divided into gi and no-gi formats, focusing on discipline, self-defense, and building confidence in a safe and structured environment. Adults have access to both gi and no-gi instruction, along with women’s only classes, open mat sessions, and private lessons. The schedule is designed to accommodate family participation, making it possible for parents and children to train under one roof. Texas Made Jiu Jitsu welcomes students of all experience levels and backgrounds, and drop-ins are accepted. The facility is wheelchair accessible, and the coaching style is known for its clear, step-by-step instruction tailored to the needs of each student.
