Brazilian Top Team - Dominion in San Antonio is led by a team of experienced black belt coaches, including Diego Gamonal Nogueira, a three-time World No-Gi Champion and multiple-time IBJJF medalist. The academy inherits the legacy of the renowned Brazilian Top Team, whose athletes include Ricardo Arona, Murilo Bustamante, the Nogueira brothers, and Vitor Belfort. With a deep competition pedigree and a focus on both technical development and personal growth, BTT Dominion brings decades of expertise from the global stage to the local mats. The academy’s kids program is a cornerstone of its offerings, emphasizing anti-bullying, self-defense, and confidence-building for children of all ages. Classes are available in both gi and no-gi formats, and instruction is tailored to help young students develop discipline and camaraderie. Jason Hernandez, a black belt under Diego Gamonal and a longtime youth coach, leads much of the kids instruction, drawing on over nine years of experience coaching children and a career in law enforcement. For adults and teens, BTT Dominion runs all-levels Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes in both gi and no-gi, with open mat sessions available for those looking to practice and refine their skills.
