Claim this gymRounders MMA & Boxing Brazilian BJJ in Santa Ana builds its training around the belief that martial arts are best learned through hands-on coaching from experienced competitors. Head instructor Bao Quach leads the program, drawing from his career as a professional mixed martial artist, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and Muay Thai expert. The coaching staff includes specialists in boxing, kickboxing, and youth instruction, each with deep practical backgrounds in their arts. This approach creates a gym where students learn directly from coaches who have spent years in the ring and on the mats, shaping each class with real-world insight and attention to detail. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Rounders is taught in both gi and no-gi formats, with a schedule that offers options for adults throughout the week. The curriculum emphasizes practical application, with classes that blend technical instruction, drilling, and live rolling. Open mat sessions are a regular fixture, allowing students to test and refine their skills in a less structured setting. The gym welcomes drop-ins, making it accessible for visiting grapplers or those looking to experience the training firsthand. For younger students, Rounders runs dedicated kids’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for ages 4 to 13, as well as youth gi and no-gi sessions for those 7 and up. The kids’ program focuses on building a foundation in technique, discipline, and confidence, guided by instructors who specialize in youth development. Alongside BJJ, the academy offers a full slate of striking arts—boxing, Muay Thai, and kickboxing—making it a place where families can train together and students can explore multiple disciplines under one roof.
