Jiu Jitsu classes at Roots are organized for all levels, starting with adult fundamentals and progressing to intermediate gi and no-gi sessions. There’s a strong emphasis on live rounds and positional sparring, especially in dedicated offerings like “10 Round Tuesday” and no-gi open mats. For those just starting out, structured intro classes ensure the basics are covered, while more experienced practitioners have regular opportunities to refine advanced techniques. The program is rounded out by wrestling, boxing, and kickboxing, making it a true mixed martial arts environment. Roots places special attention on youth development, with a robust kids program spanning ages 3 to 13.
