133 Sports Pkwy # H, Keller, TX
Peak Performance MMA & BJJ was founded in Keller by Paul Halme, a Masters BJJ World Champion and MMA champion with a long history in both competition and coaching. Halme’s approach comes from more than 15 years of experience, including time spent cornering fighters in the UFC and preparing athletes for major events. He built the academy around a structured curriculum designed to give new students a solid foundation, steering away from the chaotic, unplanned classes he saw early in his own martial arts journey. The academy’s program reflects the breadth of Halme’s background, offering both gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, wrestling, Muay Thai, and fitness kickboxing. Classes are organized by level, with dedicated fundamentals sessions for beginners and advanced training for more experienced students. For adults, the schedule includes beginner and all-levels BJJ in both gi and no-gi, advanced gi classes, MMA grappling, and open training rounds. Striking disciplines are covered through Muay Thai and kickboxing, both for fitness and technical development. Kids’ programs at Peak Performance start as early as age four, with Little Ninjas classes in both MMA and Jiu-Jitsu, and continue through age fifteen with age-appropriate BJJ and kickboxing. The school emphasizes keeping children engaged while teaching discipline, self-defense, and confidence. Wheelchair accessibility and a drop-in-friendly approach make the facility practical for a wide range of students. The academy’s structure and Halme’s competitive pedigree have shaped a place where serious training and practical skill-building go hand in hand.
