At Alliance Jiu Jitsu Keller, students of all ages move through a structured path that starts with fundamentals and grows into advanced training, all built on the proven Alliance methodology. The curriculum is clearly mapped, with introductory sessions to get new members started, followed by a progression through Fundamentals, Intermediate, and Advanced group classes in both gi and no-gi formats. Adult members can expect to find classes tailored to their level and goals, whether they’re stepping onto the mats for the first time or preparing for competition. The academy’s roots in Keller run deep. Locally owned by Professor Sam Snow, who grew up in the area and graduated from Keller High School, the school is anchored by a commitment to safety, honor, and respect. Alliance Jiu Jitsu’s international reputation for technical excellence is reflected in the day-to-day training, and students benefit from an environment where clear expectations and thoughtful instruction shape every class. The gym also offers a dedicated judo program for adults, adding a valuable stand-up grappling option to complement the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu curriculum. Programs for kids are carefully divided by age and development, starting with Baby Eagles (3–4 years), Little Eagles (5–6), and moving up through Eagle Warriors and Eagle Youth (7–15). Each group follows Alliance’s structured youth curriculum, focusing on coordination, confidence, and skill-building appropriate for their stage. Women have access to the Alliance Diamonds program, with a ladies-only on-ramp designed to support a confident start in BJJ. Open mats are available in both gi and no-gi, and drop-ins are welcomed. The facility is wheelchair accessible, ensuring broad access to training for the Keller community.
