401A Talbot AVE., Thibodaux, LA
Next Generation Martial Arts in Thibodaux, Louisiana, runs its Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program out of its Talbot Avenue location with classes structured for both adults and kids. The academy offers a traditional gi-based curriculum, with core classes for adults as well as programs designed specifically for younger students. Separate age groups include Pre-K, Youth, and Pre-Teen, giving kids a chance to train with peers at similar developmental stages. Adults at Next Generation can join regular BJJ classes in the gi and have access to open mat sessions, which are open to drop-ins. The open mat format lets students practice techniques, spar, or drill at their own pace outside of structured class times. All classes welcome both men and women. The academy’s approach is to provide consistent instruction and a steady training schedule for the Thibodaux area, with a focus on building skills from the ground up for every age group. Whether starting in the fundamentals as a child or an adult, students follow a path that supports long-term development in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
