Claim this gymIn Burlington, MNBJJ HQ Academy (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) presents itself as a neighbourhood BJJ school run by Professor Marcio Nunes. The academy’s address at 5230 S Service Rd Ste 301 anchors its presence in the city, and Marcio — shown on the academy site as having practised BJJ for more than 20 years and earned his black belt in Brazil — leads classes across age groups and belt levels. The curriculum published by the school covers Adult BJJ (Fundamental, Advanced, No-Gi, BJJ Rounds and BJJ Drill), a structured Kids & Youth program divided into Junior, Kids and Youth divisions, a dedicated competition track, and private lessons. Kickboxing is offered as a separate coached program under Mitchell Skovmose, whose profile links a boxing/kickboxing background with competitive sport jiu-jitsu experience and a brown belt earned under Professor Nunes. Practical details on the academy site note introductory classes that run through warm-ups, break-falling, stance, basic movements and BJJ terminology; the school also mentions a uniform provided during the free trial and laundered after each use. Contact routes listed include phone 905-333-JITS (5487), email contact@mnbjj.ca and the academy website, https://mnbjj.ca/, for schedules and program-specific times.
