Mano A Mano Jiu Jitsu in Kissimmee is led by brothers Pedro and Derrick Torres, both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts with deep competitive roots. Pedro’s accomplishments include titles at the IBJJF Worlds, Pan Jiu Jitsu, and European Championships, while Derrick has made his mark at the IBJJF Pan Ams, Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, and multiple IBJJF International Opens. Their approach blends high-level technique with a focus on humility and growth, creating a space where students of all backgrounds are treated like family. They are joined by Judo black belt Angel Sierra, a decorated competitor and former assistant coach of the Puerto Rico national team, who brings his expertise to the academy’s judo program. The training schedule is built for a wide range of students, offering structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in both gi and no-gi formats. Adults can progress through fundamentals, all-levels classes, and open mats, while children have dedicated programs starting with the Little Ninja class and continuing through kids’ gi and no-gi sessions. Judo is offered for all levels, complementing the BJJ curriculum with a strong focus on throws and stand-up skills. Classes run throughout the week, including early morning and evening options, making consistent training possible for busy families and working adults. Mano A Mano’s programs are designed to help students advance whether they are new to grappling, preparing for competition, or seeking to build fitness and confidence.
