Juggernaut Brazilian BJJ

Juggernaut Brazilian BJJ was founded in 2023 by Brad Schoenemann, a third degree black belt with over 20 years on the mat. Brad began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2003 under Matt Serra, a fifth degree black belt and former UFC Welterweight Champion. After moving to Northeast Florida in 2015, Brad decided to bring his experience and teaching style to Jacksonville, focusing on practical instruction for students of all backgrounds. At Juggernaut, classes are available for adults, teens, and children. Kids ages 4 to 12 can join the Juggernaut Juniors program, which offers both gi and no-gi classes designed to build confidence and skill from an early age. Teens and adults have access to structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes in both gi and no-gi formats, as well as sessions in judo and striking. The schedule also includes free community open mats for experienced practitioners who want extra mat time, and private instruction is available for those looking for more focused attention. The academy welcomes both beginners and experienced grapplers, offering a range of programs that reflect Brad’s experience coaching students at all levels. Whether a student is interested in self-defense, competition, or simply learning the art of BJJ, Juggernaut’s approach is rooted in technique, discipline, and a strong sense of local connection.
