Hero Martial Arts Schools Camden Town was founded by Master Ben Fullick, who brings over 30 years of martial arts experience and more than two decades leading schools across the UK. Ben’s personal journey into martial arts began as a child, using training to build confidence and resilience after facing bullying because of his hearing impairment. His background includes a 4th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, as well as training in Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The academy’s core philosophy centres on empowering students of all ages to reach their potential, with a particular focus on building confidence, discipline and life skills both on and off the mats. The Camden Town location emphasises a family-oriented approach, offering classes for pre-schoolers, children, and adults. The Mini Hero programme (ages 3-6) is designed to help young children develop respect, discipline, focus, and confidence through short, engaging sessions tailored to their attention spans. For children aged 7-11, the Junior Hero classes combine martial arts tradition with modern, enjoyable teaching methods, ensuring students gain fitness, self-defence skills and a sense of belonging.
