1181 S Buffalo Dr #120, Las Vegas, NV
Gracie Nevada Jiu Jitsu & Self Defense is led by Professor Antonio “Tony” Reel, a black belt under Relson Gracie who has practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 20 years and taught for more than 12. Since opening the academy in Las Vegas, Tony has emphasized teaching core principles and techniques rooted in self-defense, aiming to develop not only technical skill but also discipline and respect among his students. His approach reflects a clear lineage and a commitment to preserving the traditional values of Gracie Jiu Jitsu while adapting to the needs of practitioners at all levels. Training at Gracie Nevada follows a structured curriculum that includes gi classes for adults and children, with separate little kids classes designed to build fundamentals before advancing. The academy also offers dedicated self-defense classes for both kids and adults, underscoring its focus on practical application beyond sport. Open mat sessions are available for adults, providing additional opportunities for drilling and sparring in a less formal setting. The facility is wheelchair accessible, supporting inclusivity within its training environment. Professor Tony also provides private lessons and seminars tailored to individual goals, allowing for personalized instruction beyond regular group classes. The academy’s schedule supports steady progression, with multiple classes throughout the week to accommodate different age groups and experience levels. Gracie Nevada continues to serve the Las Vegas community by maintaining a clear focus on technical excellence, real-world self-defense, and the lifelong journey of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
