Gracie Jiu Jitsu Largo is led by Coach Jen, a Certified Gracie University Instructor and one of Florida’s most accomplished women’s self-defense teachers. With over a decade of experience and a background in psychology and criminology from the University of South Florida, Coach Jen brings both technical expertise and a trauma-informed approach to every class. She is an IBJJF No-Gi Worlds silver and bronze medalist in the Masters division and has competed in major tournaments including NAGA and Copa, but her focus remains on empowering women, children, and families through practical, proven Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. The academy is known for its women-owned leadership and commitment to a safe, inclusive training environment. Programs are structured around Gracie Jiu-Jitsu’s core curriculum, with specialized offerings for different age groups and needs. Kids as young as three start in Gracie Bullyproof, which emphasizes confidence, teamwork, and real self-defense. Older children and teens continue with gi and no-gi classes, developing both technical skill and resilience. Adults and teens can join beginner and intermediate BJJ classes, while women’s self-defense is a major focus, featuring Women Empowered and trauma-aware instruction that prioritizes consent, boundaries, and emotional safety. Beyond regular classes, Gracie Jiu Jitsu Largo offers Girl Empowered summer camps, College Ready summer camps, and birthday parties designed to foster confidence and connection. The facility is wheelchair accessible and welcomes families from across Clearwater and the surrounding area. Every program is built on the belief that Jiu-Jitsu should help people feel safer, stronger, and more prepared—on and off the mats.
