Gracie Barra Ocotillo Jiu Jitsu

Gracie Barra Ocotillo Jiu Jitsu has built its program in Gilbert, Arizona around a team of nine black belts, bringing a deep pool of experience to the mats each week. As part of the global Gracie Barra network, the academy follows the structured, traditional gi-based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu curriculum that has shaped generations of practitioners. The school welcomes students as young as three years old, with classes tailored to different age groups and stages of development. The kids’ program is a central part of Gracie Barra Ocotillo’s mission, offering Tiny Champions, Little Champs 1 and 2, Juniors/Teens, Advanced Kids, and dedicated Kids Competition classes. Parents and children can even train together in a special class designed to foster family involvement. For adults, the academy offers the full progression from GB1 Fundamentals to GB2 Live Training, Blue Belt & Up, and advanced competition classes. Women’s classes are also available, providing focused instruction in a supportive setting. Open mat sessions are scheduled regularly, giving students a chance to roll with different partners and apply what they’ve learned. The facility is wheelchair accessible, and drop-ins are welcomed for most classes, making it easy for visitors or traveling students to join.
