Ghost Squad Castle Rock

Ghost Squad Castle Rock is led by Professor Michel “Buiu” Porfirio Pereira, a fifth-degree black belt under the Carlson Gracie lineage with over 35 years of experience. Buiu has a long history of building Brazilian Jiu Jitsu programs, notably founding Carlson Gracie Miami in 2008, which grew into one of Florida’s largest academies. His teaching philosophy centers on the traditional “Bushido” code, emphasizing integrity, respect, honor, and compassion alongside technical skill. Jiu Jitsu at Ghost Squad is more than just a martial art; it’s a way to transform character and lifestyle through discipline and humility. Classes at Ghost Squad Castle Rock follow a structured gi curriculum for all ages, from kids and teens to adults. Fundamentals classes provide a foundation in technique and principles, while intermediate and advanced sessions build on those skills. The academy also offers women’s self-defense courses and seasonal competition training to prepare students for tournament conditions. Open mat sessions are available for all students to drill and spar freely. The focus remains on mastering classical Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques within a respectful training environment.
