G13 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Havelock N.C. runs on a structured curriculum shaped by decades of technical refinement and a consistent teaching standard found in every G13 academy worldwide. Classes are organized by experience level, with fundamentals and all-levels sessions forming the backbone of adult training. Beginners are welcomed directly into the fundamentals program, where they learn the essential positions, escapes, and submissions that define modern Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. For those who advance, the academy offers dedicated classes for blue belts and above, as well as competition training by invitation. The kids’ program at G13 Havelock is age-specific and designed to foster both skill and confidence. Instruction starts as early as age four, with separate classes for little kids, youth, and big kids up to age thirteen. Each group follows a curriculum aimed at building focus, discipline, and real technique in a safe, structured environment. This approach reflects the G13 philosophy that Jiu-Jitsu should be accessible and meaningful for every age and body type. While the academy’s roots and daily instruction are grounded in gi-based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, students can also take part in no-gi classes at the all-levels stage. Across all programs, the teaching reflects the lineage and values established by Master Roberto Godoi, a 6th degree black belt who has led the G13 network from its beginnings in São Paulo to more than 100 academies worldwide. Drop-ins are welcome, and the facility is wheelchair accessible, underscoring the school’s commitment to making quality Jiu-Jitsu available to all in Havelock.
