Claim this gymFusion MMA & Jiu Jitsu #2 (Sunset Blvd) in St. George, Utah, is led by a team with deep roots in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and striking arts. The academy operates under the guidance of Master Instructor Aaron Reis, a 5th Degree Black Belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu and a Black Belt in Walt Bayless Jiu Jitsu, with nearly three decades of grappling experience and over 40 years in martial arts overall. Fusion’s technical lineage traces through the Fabio Santos BJJ Association, connecting students to one of the world’s few coral belts and a direct student of Rolls Gracie. The coaching staff also includes head instructor Jennifer Reis, a two-time IBJJF No-Gi Brown Belt World Champion who leads the women’s program, and Coach Christian Reis, a BJJ Black Belt and accomplished MMA fighter and karate champion. The academy’s program is built for steady technical growth, with class options in gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, no-gi, MMA, Muay Thai, and boxing. Structured beginner classes provide a clear entry point for those new to grappling, while experienced students can focus on refining details, pressure-testing techniques, and developing a complete game that blends stand-up and ground skills. Fusion offers dedicated women’s BJJ and self-defense classes led by an experienced competitor, as well as kids’ classes that are run separately from the adult schedule, giving younger students their own focused environment. Open mat sessions are available for extra rounds, positional drilling, and cross-training. Fusion welcomes drop-in visitors, making it accessible to both traveling grapplers and locals looking to supplement their training. The facility is wheelchair accessible and designed to support a wide range of students, from families and women seeking dedicated mat time to those interested in developing skills for competition or self-defense. With its mix of gi and no-gi jiu jitsu, striking arts, and structured coaching, the Sunset Blvd location gives St. George’s students the chance to build a technical foundation and grow at their own pace.
