Fast Lane Jiu Jitsu Academy in Houston is led by Professor Alex Lane, a first-degree black belt under Professor Tim Credeur of BJJ Revolution Team. With over a decade of experience on the mats and an active competition record, Professor Alex brings both technical depth and a genuine passion for mentorship to every class. His focus on guiding students—especially children—through the stages of learning is evident in the academy’s approach, aiming to foster not just skilled grapplers but confident individuals both on and off the mats. The academy offers a structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program in the gi for all ages, starting with Tiny Champs for ages 4–6, progressing through fundamental and advanced kids’ classes, and continuing with a dedicated teen program. Adult students can choose between fundamental and advanced gi classes, as well as no-gi sessions. Fast Lane also runs open mat sessions and a competition training program for kids and teens, reflecting the academy’s emphasis on both technical development and real-world application. The schedule is designed to accommodate busy families and working adults, with a variety of class times throughout the week. Coach Sienna leads the women’s program, drawing on her own achievements as a Pan American Champion and IBJJF Worlds medalist to create a space where women can excel in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The academy’s staff includes a team of assistant and junior coaches, many of whom have grown up training at Fast Lane themselves. Recent expansion has doubled the mat space to 2,500 square feet and added new amenities, supporting the academy’s growth and its commitment to providing a welcoming and accessible training environment for Houston’s BJJ students.
