CXBJJ Training Academy HQ in Hubert, North Carolina, is led by Professor Enrique Watson, a third degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Sensei Yoshihiro Fujita and a 3rd-degree black belt in Pankration under Professor Jerry Roeder. With more than thirty years of martial arts experience, including a career in Bellator MMA and championships in Shooto Japan and the JBJJF, Professor Watson brings deep expertise and a strong sense of mentorship to the academy. His journey from Peru to the United States, 14 years of Marine Corps service, and ongoing support for veterans’ causes shape the academy’s values and outreach. The teaching team includes instructors who have built their skills through years of wrestling, international travel, and competition, with black belts earned both at home and abroad. CXBJJ HQ offers a wide range of programs for both adults and children, anchored by structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes in the gi. The schedule includes early-morning “Dawn Patrol” BJJ sessions, wrestling, kids’ BJJ, and open mats that welcome drop-ins.
