CrowesNest BJJ is led by Head Instructor Carlton Rowe, who earned his black belt in 2023 after years of dedication to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Established in 2007 in White Pigeon, Michigan, the academy has grown steadily while maintaining a close-knit atmosphere. Since 2014, CrowesNest has been affiliated with Team Rhino, a network of academies that emphasizes technical skill and strong team values, which has influenced the school’s approach to training and community. The academy operates as a private club, carefully vetting prospective members to preserve the quality and culture of its training environment. This selective membership policy reflects a focus on serious practitioners rather than large numbers, fostering an environment where discipline, respect, and continuous growth are prioritized.
