Cameron Davis BJJ

Cameron Davis BJJ is known in Gulfport for its family-run approach and practical, student-focused training led by 1st-degree black belt Cameron Davis. Professor Davis started his martial arts journey at 13 and brings over two decades of experience—including gold medals in Taekwondo and MMA cage fighting—to the mats. He leads the academy alongside his wife, Alora, a former US Navy Corpsman and critical care RN who is especially passionate about women’s self-defense. Their daughter also helps out in the kids’ program, making this a true family effort with deep local roots. The academy offers a full schedule of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for all ages, with both gi and no-gi sessions running throughout the week. Adult classes are held midday and evenings, while the kids’ program is split into Minis, Kids, and Juniors, each with gi and no-gi options to match different age groups and levels. Women’s BJJ is a central part of the program, including a Saturday Women’s Competition Prep class and weekly women’s no-gi sessions. In addition to the core BJJ curriculum, Cameron Davis BJJ hosts an MMA Co-Op and monthly special events, and opens the mats every Sunday for open training. The school is located in the heart of Gulfport and welcomes visitors from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Drop-ins are welcome for most classes, and the schedule is designed to accommodate families balancing work and school. With hands-on instruction from the Davis family, students get practical coaching rooted in experience and a commitment to personal growth through Jiu-Jitsu.
