Marble also holds a 4th-degree black belt in Judo and a Level 6 rank in Kali, reflecting a broad and deep background in grappling and weapons-based arts. His educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Administration, which inform his structured and thoughtful approach to teaching. The academy offers a full curriculum that spans Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Kali, and Muay Thai Kickboxing. Adult BJJ classes emphasize strategic grappling techniques, focusing on leverage and control rather than strength. Kids’ classes aim to build physical coordination, discipline, and confidence, providing a foundation that benefits children beyond the mat. Kali training introduces students to Filipino weaponry and empty-hand techniques, emphasizing flow, timing, and reflexes. Judo classes concentrate on throws, takedowns, and submissions, with a philosophy centered on balance and technique. Training at Blue Springs BJJ includes gi classes for all ages, supplemented by open mat sessions for adults to drill and spar freely. The school accepts drop-ins and offers a diverse set of programs led by instructors with specialized expertise, such as Dan Hurst for Muay Thai and Justin George for Kali. The academy’s long-standing presence and comprehensive martial arts offerings reflect a commitment to developing not only physical skills but also character and mental resilience.
