Art of War Jiu Jitsu opened its doors in 2018 with a clear mission: to use martial arts as a tool for personal growth, discipline, and practical self-defense for students of all ages. Built from the ground up to serve Orange Park and the surrounding communities, the academy was founded on the belief that everyone—regardless of age, gender, or experience—should have access to high-quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts training in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. The academy offers a range of programs tailored to specific age groups and interests. Young children can begin in the Tinys Jiu Jitsu classes (ages 4–7), while older kids move into Juniors Jiu Jitsu (ages 8–12). Teens and adults have dedicated BJJ classes, and the Orange Park location also features MMA and Muay Thai for both juniors and adults. This structure allows students to progress steadily, learning realistic and practical skills at each stage of development. Art of War also participates in the Step Up Program, making mid-day and evening kids’ classes accessible to more families. Classes are held at a wheelchair-accessible facility on Park Ave and are designed to foster both technical ability and personal achievement. The academy’s approach blends traditional martial arts values with modern coaching, aiming to help every member develop confidence, fitness, and the ability to protect themselves. With programs running throughout the week and a focus on both individual and family training, Art of War Jiu Jitsu has become a steady presence for martial arts in Orange Park.
