303 TRAINING CENTER (ARVADA BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU)

303 Training Center (Arvada Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) was established in 2010 by Professor Tony Basile, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with nearly two decades of experience. Basile earned his black belt and first degree under Master Carlos Gracie Jr., later receiving his second degree from Professor Fabio Costa. Beyond his personal achievements, Basile has coached the academy’s youth program since its inception, guiding kids through skill development and community engagement, including charitable activities. His background also includes coaching UFC athletes, bringing a high level of competitive insight to the gym. The academy offers structured progression through beginner and intermediate gi classes for adults, led by instructors such as Paul Gummerson, Jon Trinidad, and Jeremiah Brunner. Open mat sessions and randori provide additional training opportunities for all levels. The curriculum extends beyond gi to include no-gi training and kickboxing, with dedicated coaches supporting striking and MMA elements. Private lessons and specialized classes like the BJJ Parents Class reflect a practical approach to accommodating diverse student needs. Youth programs form a significant part of 303 Training Center’s identity. Children as young as four begin with the Little Heroes classes, progressing through kids and teen programs under coaches like Eric Gutierrez and Tony Basile. The youth instructors bring extensive competitive experience and focus on building confidence and discipline alongside technical skill. The facility is wheelchair accessible, supporting a broad range of practitioners in Arvada’s Colorado community.
