Wyo Faction LLC

Wyo Faction LLC is led by Professor David Wenig, who has trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2007 under Professor Robert Wunderlich. David earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in December 2024 and has competed actively in both gi and no-gi tournaments. The academy's instruction reflects David’s experience learning directly from Robert, emphasizing precise teaching methods developed over many years on the mats. The school offers classes for all ages, including specialized programs for kids such as Junior Grapplers and combined BJJ/Judo classes. These youth programs focus on developing fundamental skills through gi training, helping young students build coordination and confidence. Adults can attend open mat sessions that welcome drop-ins, providing flexible training opportunities beyond regular classes. In addition to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wyo Faction integrates elements of judo into its curriculum, reflecting the grappling roots shared by both arts. The instructors team also includes several coaches like Kyle McLendon, who has been with the academy since 2017 and competes regularly in regional grappling events. This range of instructors supports a training environment where students can progress steadily through belt ranks while gaining experience in competition and self-defense.
