Claim this gymWest Bay Martial Arts in Warwick, Rhode Island, offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training primarily for adult students. While detailed information about the academy’s founding instructors or lineage is not publicly listed, the school maintains a consistent schedule that includes open mat sessions designed to give practitioners extra time on the mats for drilling and sparring. These open mats welcome drop-in students and provide an opportunity for adults to refine their skills outside of formal classes. Training at West Bay Martial Arts centers on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with a focus on practical application through hands-on practice during open mat times. The academy’s schedule reflects an emphasis on allowing students to develop their techniques in a less structured environment, encouraging personal growth and experimentation. No specific mention is made of gi or no-gi specialization, competition teams, or children’s classes, indicating the program likely caters to adult recreational or fitness-oriented grapplers. Though the facility details and instructor credentials are not highlighted, the academy’s location on Post Road situates it within reach for local martial artists seeking additional mat time. Without a formalized lineup of classes or age groups beyond adult open mats, West Bay Martial Arts appears to serve as a supplementary training space for adult BJJ students in the Warwick area.
