Way Of Life BJJ in Saugus, Massachusetts is led by Professor Rodrigo Almeida, a native of Vila Velha, Brazil, who has been immersed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2003. Rodrigo earned his black belt in 2015 and brings years of experience both as a competitor and as an instructor. He is known for his hands-on teaching style, ensuring that every student—from their first day on the mats—receives the attention and details needed to grow in the art. Rodrigo’s approach emphasizes not just technical skill, but also the life values and positive mindset that BJJ can foster beyond the academy. The adult program at Way Of Life BJJ covers both gi and no-gi fundamentals, with dedicated classes for each format. Women can join a women-only gi class, and open mat sessions are available for adults looking to round out their training or roll at their own pace. Coach Keith Labao, who has trained since 2010 and earned his black belt in 2022, brings a particular focus to no-gi instruction and enjoys working with both newcomers and competitors.
