Claim this gymUndisputed Fight Academy in Manhattan Beach offers a balanced approach to martial arts training, emphasizing both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai under experienced instructors. The BJJ program is led by Professor Patrick Becker, a 4th-degree black belt under Chris Haueter with over 25 years of martial arts experience and a competitive background that includes multiple IBJJF American Nationals gold medals and a Pan American silver medal. His wife, Coach Nancy Becker, also a BJJ black belt with more than 15 years of training and tournament success, directs the women’s BJJ classes. The academy’s jiu-jitsu curriculum includes gi and no-gi classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings, along with open mat sessions on Fridays. On the striking side, Kru Jeng Thanawut brings a deep Muay Thai pedigree, having competed professionally in Thailand since childhood and holding multiple regional titles. He is supported by Coach Adam Wagner, a nationally certified official and former professional fighter, and Coach Kitty LaDochy, the academy’s owner, who has over two decades of experience in kickboxing, Muay Thai, and fitness training. The Muay Thai schedule covers fundamentals, clinch work, sparring, and conditioning, with a women’s-only class to address specific training needs. Beyond martial arts technique, Undisputed Fight Academy incorporates fitness-oriented classes like the Fighter Fit Fitness Challenge, blending conditioning with combat skills. The academy welcomes drop-ins and offers private training, catering to adults interested in serious skill development as well as fitness. Its instructors’ diverse backgrounds and competitive experience shape a curriculum that respects tradition while addressing modern training demands.
