Claim this gymTop Form Karate & Fitness in Weirton, WV, has built its curriculum around the Chun Kuk Do system, a martial art developed by Chuck Norris that blends traditional karate with practical fitness. While the gym’s founding instructor details aren’t specified, the academy’s focus on structured karate classes reflects a disciplined approach rooted in this system's philosophy. The schedule includes beginner through advanced karate training for kids, teens, and adults, culminating in black belt classes that emphasize technical refinement and leadership. Students at Top Form follow a clear progression in striking skills, training in gi uniforms consistent with traditional karate practice. Classes for younger practitioners start with fundamentals, while teens and adults move into more advanced techniques and sparring readiness. The academy also supports Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practice through open mat sessions for kids, teens, and adults, including an advanced black belt BJJ class. These sessions allow students to drill and roll freely, complementing their striking development with grappling experience. The facility maintains a steady weekly schedule with multiple classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, plus open mat opportunities on Thursdays. Drop-in attendance is permitted, supporting flexible training for those balancing other commitments. Though the focus remains on karate as a structured martial art, the inclusion of BJJ open mats rounds out the overall program, providing a broader martial arts education within the same venue.
