Team Link Ludlow MA - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was established as part of Professor Marco Alvan’s vision to share Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with communities in Massachusetts and beyond. As the headquarters of the Team Link association, the Ludlow academy carries the tradition of structured, high-level instruction rooted in Professor Alvan’s experience as a third-degree black belt. The school has grown into a central training location for both new students and seasoned practitioners looking for authentic BJJ in the region. Classes at Team Link Ludlow are organized to give students a clear progression. Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions are split into technique and sparring: students warm up, drill specific techniques, and then have the option to stay for a dedicated hour of rolling. This two-part structure allows everyone to focus on learning before testing their skills in live training. The academy also offers Muay Thai and kickboxing for adults, with separate classes twice a week. For younger students, the kids’ BJJ program accepts ages 3 through 16 and is divided into four age groups, including a competition team for ages 9–15. Each kids’ class blends warm-ups, technical instruction, games, and supervised sparring. There is also a kids’ Muay Thai program. Private lessons, taught by a fifth-degree BJJ black belt, are available for individuals who want more focused instruction or need flexible scheduling. The facility is wheelchair accessible, and drop-ins are welcome for most classes.
