Claim this gymSudbury MMA teaches a multi-discipline curriculum built around Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and age‑graded kids programs. The academy lists structured BJJ instruction under Chief Instructor John Cole, who holds a BJJ black belt awarded by Pat Cooligan (black belt in 2018) and an IBJJF 1st Degree Black Belt certification (2021). Classes include women’s-only jiu-jitsu, adult BJJ and sport-specific striking with Muay Thai; the program mix reflects John Cole’s background across wrestling, judo, Okinawan karate, kobudo and Muay Thai. The main Sudbury location is at 428 Westmount Ave in Sudbury (P3A 5V8) and the organisation also maintains a second site in Val Caron. Published hours for the Westmount Ave facility run Monday–Thursday 10:00–21:00, Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday 09:00–14:00. Contact options on record include a phone number (705‑586‑5400) and an email address (sudburymma@hotmail.com), and the academy’s site is https://sudburymma.com/. Youth programming is explicit: little ninjas for ages 3–5, kids karate, kids kickboxing and kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, alongside adult classes and a women’s-only jiu-jitsu offering. John Cole’s listed coaching credentials also include a WAKO Canada Level I coaching certification and long experience in traditional Okinawan arts, which inform the academy’s approach to both striking and grappling instruction. The presentation is practical and family‑oriented in scope—multiple age streams, separate women’s sessions and cross‑training between striking and grappling are part of the academy’s published structure. For those checking logistics, the main address and hours above reflect the Westmount Ave location.
