Silva Fusion Mixed Martial Arts & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Jackson Township, New Jersey, is led by Coach Tony Silva, a 1st Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Asbury Park BJJ and a fourth-degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate. With over 30 years of martial arts experience beginning at age four, Silva has trained extensively in Brazil and earned multiple competition medals, including a 2014 NJBJJF Spring Challenge double gold and a 2017 IBJJF silver. Founded in 2011, the academy reflects Silva’s broad martial arts background, combining BJJ, Kenpo, Muay Thai, and MMA into one training facility. The academy offers a full schedule of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes for all ages, including gi and no-gi formats. Kids start in the "Little Ninja BJJ" program for ages 4 to 6 before progressing to the main kids’ BJJ classes and a competition team. Adults can train in gi or no-gi classes, with open mat sessions available for additional practice. Alongside BJJ, Silva Fusion provides Muay Thai striking classes and MMA training, reflecting the founder’s diverse martial arts expertise. Yoga classes are also offered to support flexibility and recovery. Silva Fusion emphasizes practical martial arts skills tailored to individual goals, whether in competition or self-defense.
