Resilient Jiu Jitsu was founded in Andrews, Texas, to provide local students with consistent access to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts training. The academy operates from a wheelchair-accessible facility at 122 N Main St, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in the community. While specific lineage or coaching history details are not publicly noted, the school carries the name of Marc Martinez, suggesting his role in its leadership or founding. Training at Resilient Jiu Jitsu caters to both kids and adults, offering martial arts classes that likely encompass fundamental BJJ techniques alongside broader self-defense skills. The schedule and class structure are not detailed, but the presence of youth programs indicates a focus on developing skills and discipline from an early age. The academy’s website invites prospective students to sign up for trial classes and memberships, signaling an open-door approach to newcomers. Though no formal affiliation or competition record is specified, the school’s existence in a smaller Texas city points to a grassroots effort to grow Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu locally.
