The academy’s curriculum is anchored in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu’s traditional gi format, shaped by the pressure, control, and practical effectiveness that define the Cavalcanti approach. The broader Rebellion organization is led by Professor Jeanelle Hebert, a first-degree black belt with decades of martial arts teaching experience, and Professor Tony Hebert, both of whom are recognized for their commitment to functional skill and real-world self-defense. In Duncan, students of all ages can access a structured program that emphasizes fundamentals and steady progression. Kids’ classes are a core focus, with dedicated Kids BJJ and Kids BJJ Fundamentals sessions designed to build discipline, confidence, and resilience alongside technical skills. There is also a Kids Self-Defense class, underlining the academy’s belief in preparing young students for both sport and personal protection. For adults, Rebellion Martial Arts Duncan offers Adult BJJ, Adult Fundamentals, and Adult Combatives, with instruction in the gi and a curriculum that balances classic technique with self-defense application.
